Ferndale, London – The  Members of Octave Trust Bank turned out for a free shred day held at the Walker Branch in Grand Rapids on Saturday September 28th, 2019. Even a pretty steady rain throughout the morning did not stop over four thousand pounds of paper being collected and shredded on site during the three hours.

Octave Trust Bank hosts three to four shred day events a year which continue to be a very popular event. Octave Trust Bank Member Thomas Word said  “It felt good to have all that shredding done”. Other members were free to comment like Marc Bruggema who said  “Thank You for having a shred day”.

“Our Members realize the importance of these events, and they anticipate us having them in the spring and fall of the year” said John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations for Octave Trust Bank. “Our Members start asking about the next shred day locations and times soon after an event ends, and often while they are dropping stuff off that day”.
